Chlorine residue and minerals contained in tap water

Method:

300 ml of lightly washed SumiBall (charcoal peppercorn) was placed in a 2 litre PET bottle, and 1.5 litres of water was added. The bottle was sealed and stored in a refrigerator. After approximately 12 hours, the density of the chlorine residue was measured by the Orthotolidine method.
The water was replaced with fresh tap water and the process was repeated 30 times over a period of one month.

The results are shown on the graph
